Brookings Oregon Whale Watching
The whales migrate past Brookings, Oregon two times a year. They are always fun to watch. These whales were captured on video on Jan. 12, 2012. I was at Cape Ferrelo just a little north of Brookings, Oregon. This pod was traveling south. There’s plenty of fun outdoor activities to enjoy year around in the Brookings area. Between the excellent fishing, numerous hiking trails, giant redwoods, beaches, rivers, flowers and sunshine it’s sometimes hard to pick which one to do. Brookings Oregon whale watching is always one of the top things to do.
Occasionally you might even see an Orca whale if you are persistent. I’ve not yet had the pleasure, but several of my family members have had the opportunity. There’s lot of wildlife so even when the whales are quiet you will have plenty to see. Your Brookings oregon whale watching experience is sure to be a pleasure. Feed the sea gulls out your window and you just might be sorry. These birds are not shy, and when one gets food, they all come. You’ve been warned…
